Ysidro is a Chihuahua mix originally from Mexico that was born approximately 11/12/22.However, he behaves like an older dog. He weighs about 10 pounds and is a beautiful golden color. Ysidro is a sweet little boy who loves attention. He loves to spend his day snuggling, playing with his toys, chasing his tail, and napping in "his" chair. He quickly mastered his dog brick game to find his treats. He is doing well with house training on a schedule, no accidents in the house. He comes when he is called and listens if he is told no. He hasn't chewed on anything that is not appropriate. He has been sleeping in his kennel all night, he loves his kennel. He's doing well on a leash and harness. He is not a fan of a collar. He's been great on his daily walks. He is a pretty quiet pup.  He has barked and snarled at our resident dog if he feels his food or toy will be taken. We are working on this issue by keeping them apart during feedings. He is good around kids. Ysidro will try to steal food from anyone eating, he's pretty quick. We are working on this and it's getting better, however I think he could easily take food from a younger child vs. an adult. Ysidro is becoming more confident everyday as he adjusts to living in a house with his foster family and meeting new people. My foster mama says I'm the cutest, sweetest, smartest little love bug and will be missed when my furever family finds me.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age ,  Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
