Hello, my name is Little John, but the people in this house call me LJ. I’m a Terrier mix born 12/12/21. I am a very sweet boy who doesn't shed.  My favorite thing to do is be around people, dogs, tennis balls, and be happy.  You might have heard of me if you happened to watch the news or read articles about me. Unfortunately, I was one of the two dogs tied up in the woods a little bit ago. Good news is I am found and am doing GREAT!  I am looking for my furever home and I will love you furever too! I consider myself a very smart dog who is quick to learn new tricks and routines.  I can currently sit, stay, lay down, shake, and patiently wait for my food. I am very good in the car and good on walks. I still pull a little, but getting better every day. I love going to softball games with my foster mom where she gives me my very own ball to chew on! I am currently in a house with a cat and a pug.  I am good at playing with dogs of all sizes! I love friends! I enjoy light wrestling and tug of war, as well as sprinting around in the yard with other dogs. I like the kitty a little too much but she doesn’t like me. Some of the other activities I enjoy include playing fetch with a ball or other toy, playing friendly with kids (all ages) and adults, wading in water, laying in water, drinking from the hose, napping next to a person, and chewing on a bone. I am not a big fan of being left in my crate all night so I bark if they put me in there. My fosters have found that I am good at sleeping in a bed on the floor in their room or even better if you let me sleep with you! I’m fully potty trained and would love to be your forever pup!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate),  Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age , Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $495.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
