Meet sweetheart Toto!  He is thought to be around 1 year old, weighing 25 pounds and has been neutered. He is a terrier mix who was brought to MN from a reservation. Toto is a very loving, silly boy. Warming up to new people and new dogs very quickly. He is food motivated, and extremely intelligent. Toto adapts quickly to his playmates, and is extremely observant. He adores playing fetch and tug with all of his toys (especially squeaky durable ones). Toto does very well on a leash, loves going on walks, and is a champ in the car. He is house trained, and crate trained (although sometimes needing to complain before settling). He spends one 8 hour day a week in the crate, and then each night and is always accident free. While I work from home, he naps throughout the day in several comfy spots. He self entertains with toys as long as we take a break to go play outside every few hours. Toto can be very high energy at times, and will occasionally lose in a chase his house cats friends & give the backyard squirrels and bunnies a run for their money. But he is gentle with play nibbling/biting, not aggressive and does not resource guard. Toto would do well in an active environment where his bursts of energy, athleticism and intelligence can shine.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate),  Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age , Bordetella vaccine, 4DX  (over 6 months of age) , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $550.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
