Meet Poppy! Poppy is a 14-lb terrier mix who wins hearts wherever she goes. With her soulful “seal face” eyes and naturally calm nature, Poppy is the definition of a gentle companion.

She’s sweet, slightly shy, and starting to enjoy playtime with other friendly pups. While we’re not sure yet how she feels about cats or kids, her easygoing personality suggests she could adjust well with proper introductions.

Poppy isn’t a fan of crates—and doesn’t need one! She’s content in a dog-safe area when home alone, and is making great progress with house training, especially with help from her foster dog buddy.

Poppy’s perfect match? A calm, loving home with someone around often (think remote worker, student, or retiree). Another small dog friend is a bonus, but not a must. No yard? No problem—Poppy’s happy with regular leash walks and lots of snuggles.

If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate pup who’ll quietly steal your heart (and maybe rock a sweater or two), Poppy is your girl.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate),  Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age , Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age) , dental, flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:$425.00
