Hi, I’m Balu! I weigh 45lbs and am about a year old (DOB 10/16/22). I often get mistaken for a puppy due to my big feet, but I’m fully grown! I’m a little shy when I meet new people, but I warm up pretty quickly, especially if there are treats involved! I am a super cuddly boy with both my people and the other dogs in the house, there’s nothing better then a nice long cuddle after a good play sesh. I walk great on a leash while wearing a front leading harness, but I do sometimes vocalize when there is another dog or person nearby. Since I’m from Mexico, I do appreciate wearing sweaters when it is cold outside to keep me nice and warm (added perk, I am adorable in clothes)! I do well in my crate when my foster mom is at work (8-12 hours) and am proud to say, I am fully potty trained using bells on the door! I am very treat motivated and know how to sit, wait, kennel and come. I ride really well in the car, and would be happy to go on adventures with my new family. My ideal home would have a fenced in yard or a nearby dog park to play in. I would love another dog in the house to bond with, but it’s not a requirement. I like to be treated like a baby and must get daily cuddles and kisses. Will you take a chance on me?
Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00
