Meet Isaac! He is a shepherd/lab mix born approx. 5/4/23. He is an easy dog to live with, he doesn't get into trouble around the house, loves the car, has good manners, and  he is potty trained.

He is crate trained, though sometimes he can be a bit fussy at first, but after barking/crying for a few minutes he calms down and can be left alone while we are at work for 7-10 hours. At night Isaac loves to sleep with his foster family snuggled up in bed. He is also happy to sleep in his crate if your bed has run out of space. 

He has many hobbies. He loves playing fetch or tug-of-war; sun bathing; intently watching the birds; or loving the chance to run. He likes the snow but is not a big fan of rain or baths. Isaac also gets along with every dog that he meets. He has so many friends! He has more of a submissive personality making him a good playmate for even dogs that are much smaller than him as well as those that are more dominant.

He is very excited to meet people and fellow dogs which can be overwhelming, but he calms down quickly and is ready to be friends. He is a strong young man and will pull you at times when walking, but he's been working on it with his foster family and quickly learning how to walk politely on a leash. 

Overall Isaac could be a perfect fit for almost any home. He would love to meet you!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $575.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
