All about Koda:
 
• 1 year old, neutered male German Shepherd 
• House trained, but may have an occasional accident if you miss his cues 
• LOVES to play with dogs 
• Good with dogs - he is high energy and a dominant dog may not put up with his antics
• Learning dog cues very well! Starting to respect boundaries 
• Loves toys! His favorite are nylon 
• Good with kids - we have a 10 year old and a 4 year old and he does great with them. He is learning not to play-mouth though so supervision with children is important 
• Koda cannot share a home with cats - even dog savvy cats. He starts off curious and playful, but becomes obsessive and tries to nip and corner his foster cat sibling
• Pulls on leash due to excitement - needs continued training 
• Working on crate training 
• Such a sweet boy! Loves to be with his people
• Learning that pets aren’t so bad and enjoying them more often!
• Does not get on furniture - trust me we’ve told him he can!
• Rides well in a vehicle 
• Currently used to a fenced in yard but I wouldn’t say a requirement 
• Koda is an alert dog and has some stranger danger - he calms down quickly once he knows a person is okay to be there (he only barks, no lunging)
 
An active family with a resident dog would be Koda’s ideal for we home!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00
