Rosa is a very sweet Catahoula mix born 6/25/21.  She is excellent in the house, she loves to unwind in her kennel and feels very safe and calm there. We’ve been working on some commands and Rosa has been a quick learner - she is treats motivated. She isn't a barker - she's calm (with a bubbly personality), she watches delivery people come right up to our door and watches with curiosity but not aggression.

Rosa's  most notable characteristic is her charm and curiosity. Her eyes are always full of love, she gently bobs her head and lifts her chin with each and every pet. She’s just so curious about exploring the outdoors, though she must be in a completely enclosed yard or on a long line to explore safely. Rosa has been an excellent friend to our resident dogs and cat, a slow introduction will help everyone involved. She’s fully crate-trained and housebroken and sleeps through the night quietly in her crate. Rosa loves going for long walks, and she's great at meeting new people including kids. She follows her humans from room to room wanting to be close to them, but she isn't needy.  Rosa does have some food aggression with other animals, so she should be fed separate from other dogs. If there is no food around, she loves loves loves to play with other dogs. But she still feels like she needs to make sure all the food is hers. She'd love to meet you!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $475.00
