Hi there!  My name is Willow!  I am a golden retriever mix, about 25 lbs., and was born approximately 3/7/23. I am very sweet, very soft and I love to be pet. I definitely have the energy of your typical puppy!  I love to run around with my two human brothers (8 and 11) and play with all of my toys.  Since I am a puppy, sometimes I forget I need to chew on my toys and not my foster parent’s hands.  They are hoping this habit goes away when I am out of my puppy stage!  I love my food and treats (peanut butter especially) and am learning how to sit and walk on a leash. I am doing pretty well, considering everything outside is SO interesting! My foster parents don’t think I can hear very well. The vet says my ear canals and eardrums are all ok, but I will need more patience and visual cues for my training, as I do not respond to noises or verbal commands.  As you can tell from my pictures, I also have a permanent head tilt and can be a little off balance.  I am working on getting better at the stairs, but I like when my people walk with me to reassure me I won’t fall.  Not much scares me and I love meeting new dogs when we go on walks. I sleep overnight in my kennel without having any accidents and usually for a few hours during the day when my foster parents are away.  I whine and complain for a few minutes, but then get settled in and start napping. I am also pretty great about going outside to go potty!  I go pretty often, so I have had a few accidents during the day, but I am getting better!

I love everything and everyone and am going to make the very best cuddle buddy and travel companion!!
