Hendrix is a small terrier mix who made his way up from Kentucky. He’s is 2.5 years old, about 18 pounds and has a beautiful reddish coat (no shedding). He is an extremely loving dog: he loves people, loves the kids he’s met so far, and definitely loves all dogs. When his foster mom sits on the couch, he is immediately beside her tummy up and wanting pets and loves. He is fully potty trained and house trained—not one accident or getting into anything he shouldn’t. He is not a fan of the crate—he can go in for short amounts of time, but since he’s house trained, I wouldn't think it’s necessary often. He is extremely respectful of the 2 old small resident dogs—he wants to play but gives them their space. He loves looking out the window and alerting the family of anything he sees. He does bark when hearing the outside door (of neighbors or delivery) open and close. He would probably do best in a house with a yard for those reasons. He is comfortable on a leash but does pull when seeing other dogs/humans he wants to say hi to, or rabbits. He is an active dog who loves being outside and walks—He would love another playful dog to keep him busy. Hendrix has so much to offer a new family and whoever adopts him will truly win the jackpot!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $725.00
