Meet Adele!   She’s a sweet girl in a small package.  She's a terrier born 7/9/22 and weighs 22 lbs.  She checks all the boxes as she’s good with dogs, cats, kids, and people.  She is fully potty trained!  No accidents. When she comes in from her potty break, she sits patiently for a treat.  She is playful and fun. She provides good energy in our home. She loves to play fetch and will randomly get the zoomies in the middle of fetch. She is mostly quiet in the house, however she will alert you if someone is coming. She is submissive and should not have any issues getting along with your resident dogs or cats. In fact, she would benefit from another dog to learn some normal dog behavior. She is food motivated, so training should be a breeze. She will be your kitchen supervisor, quietly watching you prepare food to make sure you don’t drop any crumbs.

She eats fast, so a slow feeding bowl would be great for Adele.

Leash Trained: mostly – sometimes pulls if it’s an exciting new place.
Crate Trained: Yes
House Trained:  Requires some supervision (she likes to rearrange our shoes – no damage yet, she also likes to look at the counters to see if she can reach any food)
Basic Commands:  knows sit and comes when you call her.  Responsive to “no”.  Working on others. 

We have taken Adele to outdoor kid’s sports and she is catching on quickly that things aren’t so scary. By the time Adele is adopted, she will have a weekend of camping under her belt as well. 

Adele likes car rides. She jumps in eagerly.  And she’ll clean your car of any remaining french fries that your kids dropped.

She is a little sweetie and would make a great addition to your family.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
