Hi, my name is Jillian and I’m a 2.5 year old female Lab mix. I have the most gorgeous brown eyes and a unique purple tongue. I ended up at the shelter after being found as a stray, but it’s clear I’ve been loved throughout my life. I am friendly, gentle, affectionate, calm, trained, and ready for my furever home! I already know some commands and I’m completely potty trained. I will bark if I’m in the kennel with other people in the room, but if I can’t see anyone I will only whine a little. I can be left out of the kennel too because I don’t chew on anything except toys. I love to play fetch and will even place the toy in your hand for you to throw again! My energy level isn’t too high and I’m great at keeping myself entertained. I get along with other dogs but I don’t always do a good job of reading their body language, so I’d do best with submissive or friendly/mature dogs, or as an only dog. My foster mom has noticed that I will be rude to dogs when around food, so I should be fed separate from other dogs. I haven’t had any issues greeting people & I did great with the kids at my temp foster. I haven’t met any cats yet so I’m not sure how I’d do with them! I’m a perfect passenger in the car, content to sit in the back seat and look out the window. I’m truly the best best girl! I’m an easy pup that will fit right in to your home (and heart!!). 

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
