Meeko (also known as Loki) is a sweet, playful 2.5-year-old Yorkie mix looking for a loving home.  He likes to play with toys, sit by your feet, take a little walk (with a harness), or just follow you around with a tail wag. He is easygoing and does well with the similar-sized dog in his foster home, though he occasionally lets the home dog know he is on equal footing. He enjoys lap cuddles at the day’s end but is otherwise content at your feet. He loves belly rubs and is an affectionate dog. With short legs, Loki needs a lift up to the bed or couch and may take a while to feel comfortable going down new stairs. Loki is crate trained (but whines briefly) and potty trained, but occasionally poops on the floor with full knowledge he shouldn’t!  At night he is comfortable in his kennel until released, and often burrows under his blanket. Loki doesn’t understand basic commands yet. He barks when you would expect: someone pulling into the drive, an odd noise in or out of the house, or teens home from school, etc. Honestly, this little guy will be a perfect addition to someone’s home. Loki’s sweet face and disposition are impossible not to love!
