Hi! I’m Backwoods Barbie but my foster mom just likes to call me Barbie. I was born July 16th in a car on its way to Minnesota. You see my mom, Dolly Parton, was living on the streets of Mexico when some nice people found a rescue that would take her in. She was hungry, scared and covered in ticks and fleas. Our foster mom drove all the way from Minnesota to California to pick her up. She almost made it back to Minnesota when our mom went into labor. My siblings and I have spent the last 8 weeks with our momma and foster mom. Now, we are ready to find families of our own. I’m a pretty typical puppy. I love to play and am very affectionate. I’m great with humans of all sizes. I have never met a cat but probably wouldn’t mind if you have one. I’m a really quick learner and am still working on crate and leash training. Can I be part of your family? 

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
