My name is Amanda. I am a three year old golden retriever who was released from a Missouri based breeder in August. Since I have gotten into rescue, I have been working on trusting humans and developing social skills with other dogs and cats. My foster siblings have helped to teach me how to play with toys, snuggle and get my zoomies out. I love to take treats from my foster mom and I ask for pets by putting my nose near her hands. I especially like face and head massages. I am a little skittish and need to take things slow. I am afraid of doorways and stairs as well as sudden movements. Once I am outside, however, I LOVE exploring. My foster mom wants to start taking me on walks because I am a little overweight and am on a special diet. I am crate trained and love to hang out and take in my surroundings. My favorite places to sleep are on the couch and by my foster mom’s feet. My forever family will need to be patient and take things gradually. I have so much love to give and can’t wait to meet my people.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $575.00
