Hi! My name is Estrella (it means “Star” in Spanish) and I am a princess! Aren’t I the cutest? I'm around 3 years old. Everyone wants to touch me, but listen, a princess should not let just anybody get close enough to touch her, am I right? I don’t know why everyone wants to touch my head, I mean, I’m little and it freaks me out a bit! It takes me a little while to make friends, but once you’re mine, you’re mine forever!

I have such a funny personality and love to be rubbed. I think my name should be Pogo, because I can jump and jump and jump!  I like to have stuffy toys and I like shaking them. I am really good about going into my kennel, but it makes me sad to stay in there because I really love to be around my person, it makes me feel safe. I like to eat soft food, but don’t like it when other dogs are watching me. I do get along well with other dogs and can play nicely, but it has to be under close supervision because I might get a little protective of my people.

I do well on car rides. I’m learning about a leash, but it’s not my favorite thing. I am also learning basic commands. I have a lot of energy, so it’s hard for me to sit when I’m asked. I always sit nice though when you wait to open the kennel. I’m a fast runner but always come back to my friends. I am mostly housebroken, but when it’s cold out, it is hard for me to go, so I need someone to be patient with me and make sure I do my business. I’m not sure about cats, though, I haven’t met any yet. I think I’d do really good in a place where I am the only dog so I can rule the roost. I’m looking for a family that can be firm with me on a routine and help me with my manners. Do you have what it takes to care for a pretty princess?

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $495.00
