This is Tommy, he’s a Shepherd born 11/3/2016. Tommy is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet. He is so happy to be alive and to be receiving love. He had a rough go of it for a while, suffering from mange until he was brought into rescue in Mexico. From there, he made the long journey to Minnesota to find his forever family.

Tommy gets along with everyone - dogs, cats, kids, people...literally everyone. He loves playing with other dogs, whether it be wrestling or tug o war. He would be absolutely thrilled if he had a doggy brother or sister that liked to play a few times a day. He's very polite when playing and never overwhelms the other dogs. After a good play session, he plops down and goes right to sleep.

Tommy is crate trained, but he sure would prefer to hang out with his humans whenever possible. Since he spent a long time as a street dog, Tommy is not yet potty trained but he's making progress in his foster home. He currently wears a belly band inside to prevent accidents but his foster mom is very impressed with his progress.

His foster family loves that Tommy never chews on anything he's not supposed to. Sometimes he likes to try to sneak a little food off of the table or counter, but who can blame him? After all, there was a time in his life where he didn't have enough food. Tommy is very eager to please, so he should settle into his forever home very quickly.

You'll never meet a dog who is more grateful than Tommy. When you look into his eyes, you can just see how happy he is to be loved.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, dental, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: (no fee)
