Meet Riata, a sweet and snuggly 6-year-old breeder release dog who is ready to find her forever home! Riata has an incredibly soft coat that's a joy to pet, and with a sweet habit of gently kissing your hand to show her affection, she’s sure to melt your heart. This gentle soul is still learning to trust people and can be timid around loud noises, but with patience and love, she’s sure to blossom.

Riata adores the outdoors and is gradually getting used to walking on a leash. She’s also working on becoming more comfortable with pottying in front of people, so a home with a fenced backyard and a tie-out would be ideal for her while she gets used to her surroundings.

Despite her shy nature, Riata finds comfort in her kennel and loves to snuggle up all day. She also finds comfort in other dogs, especially ones that are a little more outgoing and can show her what being a dog is all about! She’s a loyal companion who just needs a little time and encouragement to show her true, loving personality.
