This is Felix. He’s a cattle dog mix with a beautiful spotted coat born 12/6/23. He came from a reservation along with eight of his siblings. Felix is a super curious puppy. While he’s shy in some areas, he’s beyond brace when it comes to climbing and jumping from heights. He likes to be at the highest point and observe his sibling, as well as the activities going on around him. He’s been known to create little obstacle courses, ducking under chairs or stairs, hiding in nooks, running around and under furniture and it’s just a blast to watch! He loves other dogs, people and is generous with doling out all the affection you can handle as he’s a complete snuggle bug. He’s picking up potty training quickly. He knows what he needs to do outside but sometimes gets distracted by sticks or ice to chew on. Felix walks well on a leash taking the opportunity to explore what’s around him with full puppy energy! In the car, Felix is a dream. He didn’t cry at all but rather curled up and enjoyed the ride. He loves to play with all the toys (stuffed, Benebones, etc), run and play, wrestle with his brother and then find his humans to be picked up so he can curl into their laps and take a nap. He just started nesting with big blankets, making sure he creates just the perfect spot before curling up and settling in for a snooze. Felix is kept in a kennel periodically throughout the day when we’re working and sleeps in there at night. He’ll object a bit at first but quickly settles in and sleeps throughout the night (unless he’s awoken by our resident dogs being super loud.) Felix is just a dream puppy! He’s super fluffy, loveable and looking for the perfect forever! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
