Timy is a tiny little guy with a huge personality!  He appears to be a Pomeranian/Yorkie mix born approx. 11/20/23.  He was found as an abandoned pup at a very early age, and from what I understand, was bottle fed until he could eat on his own.  We can see that he has had an early human bond, with his love for everyone, and his joy for all of the other living things he has encountered.  There are no signs of “little dog attitude” with this guy – he runs with the big dogs and holds his own very well.

Of course, his size prevents him from *actually* running with the big dogs, but we do allow him to play with the more patient larger dogs in his foster home and he has done very well with all of them.  He initiates play, but will stop if a dog isn’t interested.  He entertains the entire household with his playful shenanigans.

Timy hasn’t shown readiness for potty training yet, but he does seek out a pad and will use that if one is nearby.  As for other normal puppy behaviors – chewing is something he enjoys.  He isn’t very destructive and seems to prefer his toys over things he isn’t supposed to be chewing on.

We have kept him in the kennel whenever we are unable to keep an eye on him.  He doesn’t bark much, and he sleeps quietly through the night.  Typically, when kenneled, he will entertain himself.  We have only heard him bark if he’s hungry or if he sees another dog and wants to play.

For his size, Timmy does surprisingly well on the leash.  We haven’t taken him on long walks, but he can hold his own if he needs to.  We haven’t done a lot of training with him yet, but he has learned a few things.  He understands the word “treat” and will stand on his hind legs for as long as he needs to (especially if he thinks he’ll be rewarded with a piece of liverwurst)!  He knows his name, and will come running when called.  He also knows how to flip his bed upside down, which is how he prefers to lie on it.  No matter how many times we try to show him otherwise.

He has met children as young as 6 and loved them.  I’m sure he would do well with younger kids, but due to his size, interactions should be carefully monitored.  He has also met cats and seemed to see them as just another friend.

Timy is a very good little dog who would do very well in a variety of settings.  Reach out if you’d like to meet this incredible little guy!
