Hey there, Jakey here! I am a golden retriever mix born approximately 3/17/21. I came to Minnesota from the southern states where my foster is convinced I was trained by someone to be the bestest boy ever! I embody the golden retriever personality to a T. I am loyal to my people, just wanting to be near them. I wander the world with a grin most of the time and adjust to anything that comes my way. Want me to sleep in your bed? Sure! Want me to sleep on the couch? Sure! Want me to snuggle with you? Sure! Want me to only go potty outside? Sure! Want me to walk nice on a leash? Sure! Want me to be nice with other dogs, cats and people of all ages? Sure! Do you get the picture?? Sure! I do have very fluffy fur, especially around my neck, so I will require brushing. I do like to keep watch out the window and alert everyone when people or dogs are nearby. I respond a bit to being told “no bark” so that may improve with consistency. I know how to “sit” and “go lay down”. I do okay in my kennel. Not my favorite place but I tolerate it. I’m so good around the house that I rarely go in there. I did discover how to jump the 4 foot chain link fence at my house so I’ll need either a privacy fence or a tie out. I do fine on the tie out at my foster’s house. I had some really crummy teeth when I came here. I was quickly brought to the vet and had to have many pulled. My gummy smile is cuter than ever now! I was a champ in my recovery and in taking my meds. Just wrap them up in a little ham and I’m good to go! So, that’s me in a nutshell. The happiest, chill pup on the planet! 10 out of 10, would recommend me!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00
