Meet Baloo! He’s a Miniature Pinscher born 3/28/22. Baloo has come a long, long way since coming all the way from Mexico in March. When he first arrived he was a very scared, fearful little dog but in just a couple days he went from cowering and growling to following us and wanting all the attention. He loves all the attention he can get. He is fearful of new people at first but within a couple hours is sitting in their lap. 

He does great with other dogs. He’s non aggressive and loves to play with them. He would do great in a house with another dog but has only been with small dogs so far. He is good with cats but unknown how he is with kids. 

He is very food and treat motivated but does not show any food aggression. He is doing great on house training with a puppy door and fenced in yard. He very rarely has any accidents in the house. He is doing well with learning to walk on a leash and loves to go for walks. He is smart and very eager to please. He is learning to play with toys and knows simple commands like “sit.” 

He hasn’t needed to be crated as he can be trusted alone and isn’t destructive. He loves to sleep in bed and cuddle. He is very very sweet but just a little shy at first.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $475.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
