Meet Gino, a 13 pound floofball hailing from Tijuana, Mexico! This super cute strawberry blonde has made his way to Minnesota in search of his forever family!

We don’t know much about Gino’s past but he did experience neglect. Gino came to NDLB as one itchy little boy but an allergy shot helped calm down his skin. Gino also had 17 teeth extracted upon coming into rescue so Gino’s new family needs to be committed to keeping his remaining teeth healthy. Gino’s soft, gorgeous fur will need to be brushed regularly to prevent matting. His forever family also needs to be willing to get Gino groomed regularly.

Gino is a certified good boy! He is potty trained and has only had 1-2 initial accidents in his foster home.

Gino is a very friendly dog. He gets along with dogs and currently lives with two small dogs. Gino’s personality continues to come through each day. Gino is slightly aloof and independent at times. He has not shown interest in toys. As his health has improved, he has been interested in playing with the resident dogs.

He is not a vocal dog and typically barks only on the lead from one of his resident sister dogs. His foster mom works from home and typically only leaves for 4 hours at a time. Gino is quiet and behaves when left at home. He will shower you with kisses when you get back!

Gino is a gentleman and has been friendly and affectionate with all humans he has met. He has not met cats or children in his foster home but would likely love children or cats. Gino is great for car rides and typically travels in his crate. Gino may be stubborn to go in the crate but does not protest being in the crate. While he’s been recovering with a cone, he has been sleeping in bed with his foster mom. He has been working on his basic training and is soon to mastering “sit.”

Gino LOVES going on walks. He does well on the leash, but occasionally is a stubborn sniffer. Gino would appreciate a family who would take him on a daily walk. Gino likes to explore so he should be monitored around gates and always be secured on a leash on walks.

Gino is an adaptable pup who would fit into nearly any family. He would make an excellent apartment dog but would also love a giant yard to explore. Gino is a fluffy little love bug who is excited to meet his forever family!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00
