Chifon is a beagle around 6 years old. She has made huge progress, coming from a breeder with not a lot of interaction with humans. Now she is looking for snuggles with her foster mom and has so much more confidence. She is still shy around people she doesn’t know but warms up quickly. She loves her toys and she loves running zoomies in the backyard. She is a little princess and doesn’t care much for going outside in the rain. She seems fine with fireworks and lightening but is terrified of loud motorcycles driving by when she’s out walking. Chifon is housebroken, as long as it’s not raining outside. She will most likely need to be carried outside to convince her to do her business. She’s great with other dogs as well as cats. She will go sniff the cats but will leave them alone otherwise. The most exciting part of the day is breakfast and dinner time for Chifon. She will bark until that bowl is put in front of her but takes treats surprisingly gentle. She is great on car rides. It will take her a little bit to settle down but will then just sit and take in her surroundings. Chifon enjoys walks more when there is another dog around. She is very much in tune with the stress level of the other dog. When her walking partner gets nervous and starts barking, she will get nervous and barky. If her walking partner is quiet, she will be quiet and relaxed. She picks up on emotions of her playmate very easily on walks as well as at home. She loves laying in her dog bed and snooze away her day but also enjoys playing and running with furry friends. She will want to be by her human as much as she can. Chifon is a great dog that deserves her own family. She would probably do best in a home with another dog that can help her continue her journey to be the best dog she can be. She'd love to meet you!
