Bart is a Cockerspaniel & poodle mix  born approximately 12/7/23. Bart is currently 12.5 lbs and is a beautiful cloud of light brown and white fluff. He is a sweet little boy who loves to play with toys and cuddle on the couch. One of his favorite things is discovering new things with our resident dog as his guide! There are a lot of normal dog things that Bart is still learning like mastering the stairs and how to walk on a leash. Bart is still a puppy but he is a star when it comes to potty training, if you keep to a routine he will keep his crate clean and ask to be let outside. He even started ringing the bell to be let out just like his resident foster sister. Bart is happy to go to bed and sleep quietly in his crate, he even retreats to his crate for naps and to calm down when things are hectic. He prefers his crate be facing his foster sister's bed so he knows she's by his side. Bart doesn't yet understand walking on a leash and the wide world can be overwhelming for him. He prefers to run around in the backyard and toss his toys into the air and then chase them. Bart is still in teething mode and enjoys lots of interesting toys and chews to explore.

Bart does well with adults and kids who can move slowly and allow him to warm up, he can be a little shy. He adores dog friends, even large dogs! We don't know how Bart does with cats but overall he's a very mild mannered guy. Most of all Bart is looking for his perfect snuggle buddy who has a warm lap and wants to help him learn that the world is not a scary place!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $850.00
