Jackie O is a mini Aussie born approximately 6/3/23. She is approximately 25 pounds with beautiful multicolored fur of creamy tans, browns and honey. Her eyes are an amazing gray blue color. Jackie O was very timid at first and afraid to come out of her kennel but once she discovered what it was like to be free to run around the house and yard, she has been loving life! Her foster brother, Louie (from NDLB) who is slightly larger than her, has been so good with her and they get along very well. She has gained so much confidence and has gone from being very shy to loving people. She gets very excited in the mornings when everyone gets up or when someone comes home. She hasn’t spent time with small children, our twins are 18, but she has done very well with us and has met many new people who have come over to our house. She can jump on people when she is excited and wants attention and affection, which we are working on but she is still just a puppy. Jackie O sleeps in her kennel at night with a blanket draped over it. Most of the day she is able to be outside of her kennel except for a couple hours because we have people working from home but we leave the door to it open and she does rest in there at times. Going in and out of the back door to the yard can be uncomfortable for Jackie O. We often need to prop the door open for a minute and let her go in and out rather than hold it for her but she is making progress on this. House training has been a work in progress but coming along. We believe she was used to going in her kennel before coming to us. She is getting better at taking walks on a leash, and hasn’t been on any car rides except for pick up. Jackie O is very easy going and flexible, we are certain she will make a wonderful pet for her forever family!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $795.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
