Red Dog is a beautiful mini Australian shepherd, approximately 5 years old. He weighs about 34 pounds and has beautiful coloring. Red Dog is a very sweet, goofy boy who loves to spend time with people and relax. He does well with kids (4&5 years old) and other dogs (not sure about cats). He does very well in his crate while we work 8 hours. He never whines while crated and has never had an accident inside. He’s working on leash training with his foster parents but is still a little scared. Red Dog is scared of stairs, but he’s working on it! He loves wrestling with his foster sisters and sniffing every blade of grass and every tree, he loves exploring! He does well with car rides, ear cleaning, nail trims, brushing and even baths! Red Dog will do well in a home with other dogs to make him more confident and comfortable, but would also thrive on the attention in a singular dog home. This guy's favorite pastime is sitting on the front porch in your lap, people watching, he could sit there all day long (he’s kind of a nosey neighbor if you ask me). If you’ve been looking for an aussie, but are worried about the high energy, this is the mellow guy for you! His foster parents have nicknamed him Smiley/Miles because he smiles when he’s happy or excited, it’s the cutest thing you’ve ever seen!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:
