Marie is as sweet, cuddly, and playful as they come. The first time she meets anyone she’s all kisses and tail wagging! She has not shown any fear or aggression with adults, kids (even our 2.5 year old human child), dogs, or cats. She is quite interested in the cat, will chase, but backs off when the cat warns- she just wants to play so bad. She isn’t the biggest fan of walking on a leash, I think mostly out of fear or lack of familiarity, but I’m sure with time she will get the hang of it as she’s very attentive. She comes when you make kissy noises and she definitely wants to please. She is medium energy, and loves to wrestle and do zoomies with our resident dog. She also knows how to chill out and cuddle up on the couch. She also enjoys chewing on the bones our resident dog has, playing tug-o-war with him, but she shares well - no resource guarding that we’ve seen. Marie is working on potty training. When we take her out on a schedule she will do her business outside, but is still having accidents inside too, especially on the days we have worked. She rode decently well in the car, in the kennel. A little whining, and then she settled. But we haven’t kenneled her in our home. Marie isn’t a big barker. She will bark to alert, but mostly because our resident dog is a little guard dog. She would make an excellent addition to any home. 

 Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $475.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
