Hi, I’m Roman! I’m a Golden Retriever born 3/23/24. He is continuing to work on potty training. Roman’s kennel is his safe space. He enjoys being in there and does well overnight. Roman prefers to be around other dogs and enjoys interacting and playing with them. He’s been around dogs of all sizes and breeds and is good with males and females. He’s been around kids age 5 and above and done well. He hasn’t had any exposure to younger children but I’m confident he’d be fine. 

Roman is lacking the skills needed to interact with adults. He doesn't have the drive to come and get affection very often and when he does get attention it doesn't last for very long before he wants to move on from it. He also does tend to snuggle with his humans; he does like to be close to other dogs. 

Roman is pretty good on a leash especially for a puppy. He also does well in the car and will usually opt to lay on the floor. 

Roman is overall pretty chill especially when he’s on his own. He will get a little playful with other dogs but seems to settle quickly. He is still coming out of his shell. Roman enjoys playing fetch, swimming, napping etc. He loves to be by other dogs and runs after balls if he sees it being thrown he does not bring it back yet. He likes to rough house and play tug of war. He loves being outside and chewing on sticks but his mean Foster mommy takes it away!

He’s been left alone for about 3-4 hours and was fine. I am not aware that he barks while being alone. All in all, Roman is a sweet boy and is still coming out of his shell and learning how the world works.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:
