Rowan is full of sunshine and eager to please. He’s a Golden Retriever born 10/30/23. He is just so happy to see everyone! This lil guy has been through so much (they think he might have been dragged behind a car) and yet he is so happy and resilient. He loves belly rubs and going on walks. There is so much to see on walks that he’s not quite sure what direction he wants to go so he just goes everywhere! He goes in his crate at bedtime with no complaints and sleeps all night until morning. If he gets up really early in the morning for a bathroom break, he will still go back in his crate without complaining to let you sleep in as long as he knows you are in the same room. Unfortunately going in his crate during the day so you can go run an errand or leave the house is something he is not ok with yet. He will cry and bark and chew up things in his crate. He just wants to always be with his people. Rowan is doing great with potty training. He goes right outside and takes care of business. He has also learned how to go up and down stairs and is no longer scared of them anymore! Rowan is teething so he loves puppy teething toys to help soothe his puppy teeth. When he gets playful, be careful you have something for him to chew so it’s not your hand! Rowan would do great in a house with another dog or kids or both. He would be happiest with someone who could be home with him during the day. Whoever has the time and energy for this lil guy, will be lucky enough to have the most amazing new member of the family.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00
