Hello, my name is Ricky. I’m a 6 pound Chi mix born 8/23/23. I love to be held and snuggle on my foster mom’s lap. I am mostly house trained although sometimes I have accidents. I am able to use training pads while my foster mom is away. I like walking on the leash although I’m definitely an indoor house dog. I prefer the nice, soft, comfy feeling of laying and relaxing inside. I love to play with my toys and I will chew on your shoes if you leave them where I can get them. My foster mom found that out the hard way but I am so cute and adorable it’s hard to get irritated with me. I am good with kids and adults but I haven’t been around any other dogs so we aren’t sure how I’ll react to them. I have a very good temperament and I’m always ready to run and play. I’m not a big fan of the kennel. I like being in one area, contained with a baby gate, when my foster mom is out. I do really well when I’m alone and I wait patiently while my mom is away then I get so excited to see her when she returns. I am a sweet and loving companion and I’m most happy snuggling, kissing and sleeping next to my foster mom whenever I am being held. 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $575.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
