Meet Kelo, an adorable and confident pitbull mix puppy with lots of energy and lots of love to give! Kelo is currently being fostered with one large resident dog whom he loves to receive attention from, and two resident cats. He has learned to ignore the cats but will occasionally get a little too excited and try to play with them. He is a very affectionate puppy that just wants to be with you at all times. He can be vocal when he wants your attention or food which is a great trait to have when it comes to training. He is still a puppy so he does have an occasional accident but I would say he is now about 80% potty trained. Kelo does stay in the kennel for about 4-5 hours a day and it does take him some time to settle down when home alone. He does best staying home alone with another doggy friend nearby. For this reason, he may do best in a home without shared walls.
He is vocal when first meeting new people but very friendly overall. He’s a very energetic pup that has been around kids 8 yrs and older and is able to easily keep up with their energy and chaos. He does well on car rides, and knows how to sit, stay, kennel up, lay down, and give paw. He gets very excited so he is still working on his “wait” command and learning to not jump on everyone he meets. Overall Kelo is a great puppy with lots of energy and would love to go to a home with another dog if possible and an active family. He is a very adventurous pup who would do great with someone who spends a lot of time outdoors as well.
