Daisy is a female yellow labrador retriever born approximately 6/15/23 and weighing approximately 46lbs.  She had likely never been in a house prior to being fostered, but has adapted remarkably well.  She sleeps in a crate and goes through the night without a sound, is an enthusiastic eater (typical lab!) and is very quickly progressing with housebreaking.  She quickly learned to tolerate the leash and collar, something which she had probably never experienced before.  Daisy loves everyone she meets and is wonderfully affectionate without being needy.  Her disposition is slightly shy but very inquisitive.  She always welcomes attention but is also content playing by herself with her toys.  She's also very good with other dogs.  Puppy-proofing will be essential as she is eager to explore and sample her environment.  She already understands "leave it" and seems more interested in carrying things than in chewing them.  The habit of carrying things shows she'll probably be enthusiastic to retrieve.  An investment of time spent training will pay big dividends with Daisy as she is intelligent, curious, and eager to please.   The only physical issue requiring attention is a large scar on each ear, probably from trying to put her head through the enclosure she was living in.  She's being treated with a topical spray to help with healing, but it will take a little time.  All in all, for a pup she is very easy to deal with, and is simply a delight to be around.  

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, dental, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $575.00
