Meet Daisy Q! She is a gorgeous, golden retriever mix born 1/21/23. At only 40 pounds, she is petite for a golden but she certainly has a golden's personality! Daisy Q is always happy and trots around with a smile on her face at all times. Her favorite things to do are get pets from anyone and everyone, play fetch with a tennis ball and explore the backyard. Once she is done exploring, she loves to lay in the grass with her ball and just enjoy the fresh air. She has attempted to dig once or twice but does well stopping when told "no". Daisy Q recently had a litter of eight tiny, tiny puppies. She did a great job raising them and is now ready to enjoy a new home on her own.  Daisy Q has been exposed to other dogs and makes fast friends with them. She has not been exposed to cats but it is anticipated she would be fine with them. Daisy Q is fully potty trained with zero accidents in her foster home. She takes food and treats gently and seems eager to learn skills to get more treats. She does like to be very close by when human food is present but listens well to "no" and backs off. Daisy Q is a champ in her kennel. She sleeps in there at night and when her foster family are away from the home. She will sometimes retreat to her kennel when she wants a quiet place to hang out. Daisy Q does well on a leash and on car rides. She currently lives with teenage kids but is so gentle that she'd do well with any age children. Daisy Q has only barked once or twice in her foster home. She typically even stays quiet when other dogs are walking by. The fellow resident dogs could learn a thing or two from her! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $550.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
