Meet Mike! Mike was born 5/19/24 and came from Mexico. He is possibly our tiniest foster to-date, believed to be a Jack Russell Terrier mix, which his coat certainly resembles. He has the most adorable fuzzy little feet and random scruff hairs! Mike absolutely loves being with his people. He'll curl-up on you at night to be toasty, nuzzling in tight, waking a few times through the night to go outside, then coming back in to snuggle and snooze away! For naps he loves to be next to you, often resting his head on you. Mike also loves his toys and has never met one he doesn't approve of. He enjoys chewing on benebones, whether L size (our resident dogs) or the tiny puppy size, which are just right for him. He's an expert at chasing toys down the hallway, retrieving, and thrashing them around or wrestling with them! It's hilarious to watch, as they're often larger than him, as most things are, so he definitely doesn't let his small stature hold him back. Outside he loves to run around and explore, taking in all the smells and adventures, often following our resident dogs around. Mike thoroughly enjoys meal time. He'll excitedly watch as you prep his food, then BOLTS down the hallway to his kennel, where he eats. He's working on potty training, improving steadily, as he's a puppy and learning so much. He's learning to walk on a leash like the 'big dogs.' This little guy is such a joy and so much fun! He's looking for his forever family who will snuggle him up everyday. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $625
