Meet Peggy, a beautiful, 3 month old, darker red Golden with dainty features, beautiful eyes that speak a story, and a heart of love and loyalty. She is a sweet gal who adores all people- kids, adults, and busy teens, honestly anyone that offers up a belly scratch and nose boop! She is social and curious - she loves to explore outside! She does well on a leash. Peggy is missing her back right lower leg. This does not impede her at all. She runs, plays, and does the day-to-day as any other dog!
Peggy doing very well with house training, is motivated to please, and takes to training easily. (In true Golden style) Peggy is a napping champ. She prefers a human lap or comfy couch but does very well in her crate. She uses her crate as her space when the resident dogs in our house want to play but she wants a pause. She is crated while we are at work. She doesn’t protest when put in her crate and keeps a very tidy space. She is a good car rider, and enjoys trips to the lake to be outside in the fresh air.
Peggy is a chewer and loves toys - anything that crackles or squeaks! She is growing by leaps and bounds. She spends many hours playing with our resident dogs and gets along well with all of them (big and small) She would love a home with other dogs and for sure lots of humans! With continued training in basic commands and boundaries, Peggy is going to flourish and become the most amazing family addition! 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: 850.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
