Meet Freddy, a 1.5 year old Terrier. He has quite the story of how he ended up here in our rescue. He hails from the streets of North Carolina where he was found but not claimed way before the hurricane. When North Carolina flooded, a pilot from Indiana volunteered their time to fly to NC to pick up some dogs and bring them to Minnesota. Freddy arrived at his foster home with his tail wagging! He's friendly with dogs and backs away from confrontation. He loves all people and will gladly quietly watch TV with you. He is kennel-trained with no accidents and only barks for the first few seconds in his kennel, if any. He leaves cats alone when in the house but may give chase if a cat or a squirrel runs in front of him outside. He loves playing outside with toys and other dogs and watching the birds from the window. He does well when told "no" and is working on learning other commands. He would be fine as an only dog as he entertains himself with toys or in a house with other animals. He's a very sweet dog who just wants a family of his own! 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
