Are you looking for your new best friend? Meet Lacee! She is a yellow lab currently weighing 72 lbs. and is guessed to be about 2 years old. She is very well-behaved and as sweet as can be! Her foster family has little kids who are 8, 5, and 2 and she absolutely loves them! We also have two dogs of our own (German shepherd and Dachshund) and she gets along great with them. She has also been around our kittens and seems to care less, if anything, she is a little afraid of them so she keeps her distance. Lacee is potty trained and has been good at following basic commands like sit, lay down, and come. When told to go lay down, she will lay on her dog bed and sleep there all night long. While here with her foster family, she hasn’t been getting into things she shouldn’t be and someone is always home so she has not been kenneled much. We tried putting her in one to see how she would do and she didn’t sit there and whine or bark but we were also around her. She seems to be a pretty mellow pup but she does love to run around outside and will get very excited to see you. She will sometimes jump up on you when she gets excited to see you but we are trying to work on that. When outside, she stays close by if she’s not on her tie out. If she’s on her tie out and she loses sight of you, she sometimes will start barking but that’s been about the only thing we’ve heard her bark from. Walking on a leash is hit or miss - she does like to pull most of the time but there are times she will walk right next to you. She does well riding in the car. Lacee has seemed to kind of care less about toys and bones - she would rather just follow you around or lay down next to you. Lacee is a lover she will make an awesome new best friend!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:
