Calling all Lab lovers!  Meet Pete—also known as Peter when he’s feeling fancy. This fun-loving young Lab born in approximately July 2024, was adopted as a puppy but recently returned to rescue through no fault of his own. Now, he’s looking for an active forever home where he can thrive! Pete has settled quickly into his foster home, where he enjoys romping around the yard with his dog friends and showing off his expert fetch skills. He would do best in a home that can provide him with daily exercise to burn off his puppy energy.  Indoors, Pete is learning to settle on his bed. He can be a little vocal at first in his kennel but relaxes with time. He sleeps through the night in his crate and stays there while his foster parents are at work (with a midday potty break when foster dad comes home for lunch). Pete is doing well with potty training and has had no accidents in his foster home. Highly food-motivated and eager to learn, Pete is picking up new tricks quickly! He will need continued practice with obedience and leash walking to help him reach his full potential.  Due to his high drive, Pete would do best in a home without cats or other small animals.  Pete can’t wait to meet his forever family—especially if you’ve got a good throwing arm for fetch!  Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:$575.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
