Itsy Rose is the sweetest little lady. She is a recent transplant from Mexico and is not a fan of this cooler weather! Nevertheless, she goes outside to do her business even using the same corner of the yard every time! She has never had an accident in the house. Itsy LOVES soft dog beds and if they have a squishy blanket in them, all the better. Her activity level is low  She is fine with other dogs – large and small. She is very good at following their cues. She hasn’t been interested in playing so far. Itsy is crated  7-8 hours  for the workday but doesn’t need to be as she is fine loose in the house. Treats make going into the crate better, but I still give her little booty a gentle boop to get her all the way in. We haven’t done a lot of walking because of her dislike of the cold. I think she may be unaccustomed to the leash, but I’m sure she’ll become a pro in no time. Itsy ignores cats. She hasn’t met any children since she’s been with me, but she is super friendly with adults and with her gentle nature - I think she will be just fine if and when she does. Itsy loves to eat and is very easy to train with treats. She rides well in the car. Itsy’s current “likes” are freeze-dried liver treats and napping.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:  $225.00
