Hi! I'm Pancake! I am truly as sweet as can be! I am a gorgeous chocolate lab mix who came up from Arkansas in November 2024. NDLB is guessing that I am about 1.5 yrs old (5/2023) with all the loves to still give.

I LOVE people. I just want to be by everyone at once and get all the pets. I also give gentle hugs. Doesn’t matter of age, kids, adults, seniors, I love them all. I am not scared of walkers or wheelchairs either. I will wiggle my way around it to get attention.

I love playing with other dogs - regardless of size. There hasn’t been one I haven’t like yet.

I am quiet in my kennel; I end up laying on my blanket with my stuffie and am content. My foster momma currently crates me when she’s gone as well as overnight and I’m fantastic in it.

I do not do well with cats as I think they should be chew toys.

I ride great in a car, preferably near someone to get pets. I pull slightly on leash, but not too bad.

I would LOVE to have a yard or be able to go somewhere so I can run. I have recently loved having zoomies in my foster’s yard.

My history with Arkansas is unknown. I was in one of their shelters that works with NDLB, but how I got to them, we aren’t sure. I do know my future is bright though! Won’t you be my forever home? And I’ll be your bestest friend for life.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:  $525.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
