Jupiter is the sweetest snuggliest boy!  He's a German Shepherd mix puppy, born in approximately mid October 2024.  We are working on potty training with him.  He will stand by the back door and start pacing when he needs to go out.  He needs someone that will continue to work on this with him and take him out often.  We are also working on kennel training with him.  At night and while we are gone he goes into his kennel.  At first he will bark and cry.  After a while he will settle down.  He sleeps all night in his kennel.  Again, he will need someone to keep reinforcing the kennel training with him.  So far he is doing great!  Jupiter has been great around our other adult dog, they have been playing together.  Occasionally he will nip or play bite as puppies do, but our adult dog will correct him or we will.  He is curious about our cat and tries to play with her, and he is also a little afraid of her.  He does like to chew so we have lots of different chew toys around for him.  We have taken Jupiter on several walks and he is doing great on the leash!  We have also taken him on car rides and he does well in the car.  He is a typical puppy in that he likes to play, run around the backyard, and play with his toys.  He likes playing fetch with a ball.  He is also a complete snuggle bug and likes to be held and snuggle with you on the couch.  We are home with him during the day so he has not been left alone for more than a couple hours at a time.   He does go into his kennel while we are out and at night.  He is quiet and sweet and loving.  The only time he barks is when he's in his kennel (before he settles), and when trying to play with our dog or cat. 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:  $595.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
