Hi! My name is Della, a Shepherd mix born on roughly 1/18/23!  My foster mom would describe me as perfect. I am fully potty trained and will whine at the door when I want to go outside. I will hold my bladder for anywhere up to 12 hours. Do not be alarmed, I will let you know when I need to go out. Sometimes I will even let you know I need to go out just to be outside since I love being outside. I am fully crate-trained. I take naps while my mom is at work and do just fine in the crate for long periods of time. Bonus points if you give me a treat on the way. I will run right in there and sit pretty. I love kids of all ages. I am a jumper though. (I am working on it) I just love love love humans and want to give all the kisses to everyone. I want to be as close to my human as possible. If you think I am not close enough, don't worry I will get closer. I love playing with my foster sister but do prefer dogs my size or smaller as I do tend to get protective of my home and my humans. I do not mind cats, but I get excited around them and bounce or chase them because I want to play, but if they tell me to leave them alone, I do. I am just a happy go lucky girl and I love just about everyone and everything. Nothing really spooks me besides when the train goes by or when the heater kicks on. When loud noises occur I run and hide in my humans' room and snuggle on the bed. I walk well on a leash but again I love everyone so I like to jump and say hi to anyone I encounter. I'm not really sure how I feel about car rides; it can be a hit or miss. Sometimes I whine at first then lay down and I am fine but sometimes I will cry the whole time unless I can lay on someone's lap. My energy level is mild. I get excited but also love just laying around on the couch and taking naps snuggled up to anyone who will lay with me. I can't wait to find my forever family! 
 
Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $475
