April is an adorable puppy who’s ready to find her forever home! Like most young pups, she’s full of curiosity, love, and just the right amount of mischief. She’s dog-friendly and currently living with a big 75-lb foster brother. While she was a little shy at first, they’re now great pals who love to play together.

April absolutely adores kids—her tail wags nonstop when little ones are around. She’s also met a dog-savvy cat who was respectful and curious but didn’t push boundaries. She’s doing well with potty training and will often walk to the back door when she needs to go out. Her foster mom says accidents are rare and usually just a case of missing April’s subtle cues. They’re working on her learning to ring a bell at the door!

She’s also learning how to walk on a leash. If you keep the leash short, she’ll stay close by your side. If given too much room, though, she’ll happily try to explore in whichever direction catches her attention—puppy curiosity at its finest!

April willingly goes into her kennel and sleeps through the night like a champ, though she’d much prefer snuggling up in bed with you. She’s a major cuddler who loves to curl up right next to you—or on you—whenever she can. When she feels unsure or nervous, she sticks close to her people for reassurance.
