Meet Oscar a Pug mix born in approximately January 2023.  Our total overall impression of Oscar is that he was a sweetheart from the start. He is house and kennel trained and does well when we are away. The most we have left him alone for has been 4 hours. Whenever we can, we take him with us he enjoys riding in the car. He has not been introduced to any dogs or cats yet. I have two grandchildren ages 7 and 10, a boy and a girl that come over occasionally. He is more partial to males than females. When my husband leaves the house, he whines a little but does stop. We live on a park walking trail so there are dogs and people walking within view of our living room slider. He does bark when he sees people/dogs walking by. We are working on this behavior protection behavior. He does pulls some when walking on leash. He is gentle when given treats. His energy level is medium. He enjoys car rides, being petted, talk to, playing fetch (working on bringing ball/toy back) and napping normally on a blanket. We are retired so we normally are home most of everyday.
