Hi, I’m Riley, a female Pyrenees weighing about 75 pounds. Have you ever heard of a gentle giant? Well, that’s me! I am a very sweet girl who mostly likes to lounge around. I’m fantastic with people, especially kids, and I would loooove having a kiddo in the house! I’ve met lots of dogs, from 20-70 pounds, and have gotten along with them all. I might play for a few minutes but for the most part, I’m happy to coexist next to my furry friends. Sometimes I’m a little grumpy with other dogs when there’s food around so I should be fed separate from other pups. I haven’t met any cats or critters in rescue but I’m willing to try! I did live on a farm so it’s possible I’ve been exposed to all sorts of animals in the past. I am completely potty trained! I’m not a fan of the kennel - I will whine or bark until I’m let out - but my foster mom does recommend that I’m kenneled in my new home for the first few weeks. I’m not terrible on leash but I am very strong so I’ll need some more work on this! The good thing is that I’m a smart girl who loves treats, so training me should be easy. True to my breed, I am a guardian and will let out big barks when I hear noises outside. My foster mom thinks I’m a valuable member of the neighborhood watch! I underwent heartworm treatment while on rescue. The vet says I should have low activity until October, so no big adventures for me. That’s more than ok since I mostly like to chill anyway. Overall, I’m a happy and sweet girl who loves to sleep, eat snacks, and get pets. You will fall in love with me!
