Hi everyone. My name is Daisy Jane and I am a Doodle from Arkansas born in approximately November 2022.
I am such a chill and happy girl! I love people, kids, and all of the above. I like to put my paw up on your leg as if to say "Hello! Pet me!" I like to be wherever you are, even if it means I have to get up from a nap to move rooms. I am potty trained - it did take a couple of days to learn a new routine but once I learned it, no issues since. I do not bark or whine when I am around people, but when I'm left home alone I am vocal (bark & howl like I'm in agony...); I settle down pretty quickly after everyone leaves and then enjoy looking out the windows. I have free rein on the main level of the house when no one is home. Right now the only time I go in the kennel is at night/bedtime and sleep really well in there. If given the opportunity though, I will make myself at home on your bed. I walk really well on a leash with no pulling but I do like to stop and smell stuff periodically during the walk. I do REALLY love finding food/treats in the trash or on counters when you are not looking... I do not beg for food though. When you are eating I lay on the floor nicely and wait for you to finish eating. I recently had a trip to a groomer and although I was a little uncertain about the clippers and environment, I quickly overcame it and was a very good patient girl getting all cleaned up. I don't shed much - when I first arrived I had some hair that came off but after my grooming appt it has been much less. I am pretty chill but I get excited when you arrive home and like to run around the yard a bit. Otherwise, I just hang out and lay wherever you are. I am a great passenger in the car. I lay down and enjoy the ride, sometimes popping my head up to see what's out the window, otherwise just hang out til we get to our destination. I look forward to meeting you!
