Meet Bellamy, a Schnauzer born roughly 11/2/17. While her name is Bellamy, her foster family calls her Lady.  Due to her background as a breeder release, Lady had limited exposure to home life. Nevertheless, her gentle and affectionate nature has enabled her to form strong bonds with her foster family. Lady cherishes interaction with her foster family and delights in relaxing on the couch beside them. 

 

She is steadily progressing in acquiring household skills, including stair climbing, crate training, and eating from a dog dish. The resident dogs in her foster home have played a pivotal role in teaching Lady the ropes, and a future home with another dog would be beneficial. 

 

Lady is remarkably friendly and affectionate towards individuals of all ages. Her inquisitive disposition prompts her to observe her surroundings attentively. Although Lady remains calm and quiet, she can be easily startled by sudden noises. 

 

Her house training is progressing daily, thanks to the guidance of the resident dogs. Her foster family has implemented a structured feeding and potty schedule, and Lady has adjusted well to short periods of crating. However, leash training requires further attention. Lady prefers sleeping near her foster family and exhibits a preference for soft food over kibble. She has also adapted well to car travel. She can't wait to meet her forever family!
