Hello! My name is Sonja and I’m a beautiful 4-year-old Havanese. I am an extremely sweet and gentle girl. I absolutely love my soft bed and choose to spend much of the day in it where I feel warm and safe.   I like my kennel and will often stay in it for long periods with the door open. I am calm as long as I can see where my foster Mom is and I love to follow her around the house. I have been spending my days just watching her work from home. I get very anxious, destructive, and continuously try to get out of the kennel if she leaves the house. I would do best in a home where I would not have to spend long periods of time alone. I am still getting used to car rides and those also make me anxious. I have only been around other dogs a couple of times. I generally ignore them, but did show some territorial behavior when I was in my bed. I have not been around cats yet. I am an excellent sleeper at night, if I am not alone. I seldom bark, but I have a beautiful soft howl to get your attention!
