Meet Mary,  a daschund mix, estimated to be 3.5 years old.  Ms.  Mary (like a southern lady- thank you very much!) is a snuggle bug who would absolutely love her own people- although she'd be fine sharing as long as there was a lap for her too! At one point in her life, she was a mama. Mary loves going for walks and exploring the yard. She is quiet in her kennel and has had no accidents in it, nor has she torn up her bed and blankets. Mary loves to play with squeaker toys and is a master at squeaker surgery- she also enjoys a good bone to chew on. Mary can be a little skittish, but once she fully settles in, her personality really starts to shine- she just requires a little patience to begin with. She is very submissive, so she will get along with most dogs- those with overly enthusiastic play styles may not be the best companions for her as she is just as likely to show her belly as she is to play chase. She excels at staring lovingly into your eyes and would love to spend her days on top of you or, at the very least, near you. Loud noises can scare her sometimes but she tends to seek comfort from humans when unsure. Mary would love to snuggle up in bed with you every night- as long as you don't sleep in! She has only had one accident in my house, and that was a day I decided to sleep in and she went near the door she's accustomed to being let outside from. Mary has been around multiple cats and has gotten along with them- she even takes naps by them! She has also been around a variety of dogs and did perfectly with them. Mary is also kid friendly--- basically this girl is perfect!
